On the property of Michler’s Florist & Greenhouses a beer garden inspired café has taken root. Visitors must wind their way through mazes of annuals and perennials till they happen upon a magical garden carved into a locust grove with native flora. Private tables are nestled in shrub-lined niches and communal seating is illuminated by fairy lights. A wooden building nested under the open steel skeleton of a former greenhouse houses the kitchen and service windows.

A Kentucky native and fifth generation owner, Robin Michler continues to expand the family business by creating this environmentally conscious gathering space. Like traditional German beer gardens, this establishment is family-friendly and is designed to support safe nearby play.
With a nod to the dramatic architecture of the antique greenhouse and the deep horticultural roots of the family business, this logo was designed to be flexible and modular. The banner can be used in isolation of the illustrated badge as can the winding hops vines. In addition we designed a more minimal monoline logo to create more variety across applications.
